I am writing this on behalf of my good friend F who has been through hell and back this past year.

F had her baby in January 2020 and has devoted her life to caring for and raising him. In summer of 2020 she was attacked by the father of her child. After the incident, the father moved out of the home. In the weeks following he became an imminent threat to her safety.  Fearing for her life she packed up her apartment and left her home with her baby.

F moved across states to stay with family until she was able to figure out her situation. As the pandemic worsened the temporary visit has been drawn out. Currently F and baby are staying with a relative in their living room. Baby sleeps in his crib at night and mom sleeps on the floor. They have little space and privacy for themselves. F is also helping care for her mother who is ill with cancer.

We are hoping to raise funds for F to help clear her debt, provide proper medical care for baby and herself, cover moving costs (deposits, rent, furniture) and cost of a new laptop that she can use to generate income for herself at home. We are hoping to accomplish this by March.
