Susan Julia Curtis Redfield passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the Rouse Home under hospice care. Suzy was an avid sports fan who cheered for the Yankees, Rams, and Lakers, and she was a devoted KISS enthusiast. She also found joy in crocheting blankets, sharing her warmth and creativity with much of Warren County. Suzy’s life was marked by both love and loss—after losing her husband Dick and son Dave years ago, she leaned on her two surviving sons, Scott and Rick, for support.
Tragically, Scott has now lost both his brother Rick and his mother Suzy within just a couple of months. He is left to navigate not only his grief but also the overwhelming financial burden of paying for his mom’s funeral expenses, as there was no life insurance to help. Scott is doing his best to honor Suzy’s memory and give her the dignified farewell she deserves, but the costs are more than he can manage alone.
Any support during this incredibly difficult time would mean the world to Scott and help ensure Suzy’s memory is honored with love and dignity. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
