As one of the many loyal customers of John’s Market, Lisa is asking for support for Carlo Sanchez and Wendy Aguilar, the owners who have been there for their community in so many ways. Right now, John’s Market is facing a very difficult time. ICE and Border Patrol sightings in the community have caused many people to refrain from shopping there, and that drop in business has put Carlo and Wendy in a painful position. For a small neighborhood market, even a short period of lost income can make it hard to keep up with the basic bills needed to stay open.

Carlo and Wendy have been wonderful supporters to Solana Beach, especially kids and families. They have given back generously by holding a fundraiser to send kids to Disneyland and by donating Mexican food for community events and local youth sports teams. This fundraiser is meant to help them pay their business expenses, get back on their feet, and keep John’s Market going for the community that depends on it.
