Help Sarah Lay Her Dad To Rest
For those of you that know Sarah, you know she’s a very good friend that is always there when you need her, she’s a generous and kind hearted person, and she is a very devoted daughter. If you know her, you know that her and her family have had a rough last couple years with regards to her father and his medical situation. He had a sudden stroke that ended up with him needing to be put in a nursing home in order to get the care he needed around the clock. This was a hard decision for Sarah and her family to make, but was the best decision they could have made at the time. Sarah, along with her husband Corey, spent as much time as they possibly could with her father, Frank, while he was in the nursing home. Covid unfortunately did make this a bit more difficult, but they still did everything they could in order to see Frank and also have him meet his grandson, Noah, who was born during this otherwise difficult time.
Unfortunately, Frank’s condition has taken a turn for the worse in the past 24hours, and now he is in the hospital. He is no longer responsive, and the decision was made for him to just be made as comfortable as possible while they wait for his time here with us to come to an end. Sarah and her family are understandably beside themselves and she is waiting with him in the hospital currently. We all know the time is coming shortly, and unfortunately Sarah can’t focus on dealing with her own inevitable grief and emotions, because she is worried she will not be able to afford the funeral her dad deserves. Unless you’ve dealt with needing to put a loved one into a nursing home, you’re lucky enough to not understand, not only how emotionally draining it is on the entire family, but how financially draining it winds up being. In order to afford the care Frank needed while with us, his finances were drained. Leaving very little for what would be needed for his funeral. Sarah, and her husband Corey, are a beautiful young mother and father and would do anything to honor Frank while he passes from this life to the next. As hard as all
of this is, it shouldn’t be harder because of any lack of finances. We need to raise about $3,000, so that this young family can lay their Dad to rest properly, with out causing anymore lasting heartache. If you can find it in your hearts to donate, no matter the amount, to Frank’s funeral fund, I know Sarah and her family would be eternally grateful. It’s always so hard to ask for help, especially that of a financial matter, but I know Sarah would be the first to give whatever she could to any of her friends in this type
of situation. So I am hoping that we as her friends can help her out now, when she needs it most! Please donate, share and pray for Frank, Sarah, Corey, Noah and the rest of their family as they go through this tremendously difficult time!
