Help Sarah bury her son

Hi my name is Debbie, I am raising funds to help my husband Terry's daughter bring her son's body to Iowa for burial. He is from Des Moines, lived in Lakeland Fl for over 7 years and just graduated HS this year and was recently living in Orlando Fl going to college. He was born August 13th 2003. He just turned 18 and went off to college in Orlando to pursue his dream getting his bachelor's in music production. He was with classmates/friends doing homework and one kid got a gun that was used for target practice and shot him in his side, not realizing it was loaded. He was shot through the rib cage, piercing both lungs and his heart. He got up and walk down the hallway a few feet and collapsed. He was not able to be revived.

We are having a viewing down here in Lakeland and will be taking his body up to Iowa for another viewing and burial.

This was tragic and sudden and no life insurance or other means to pay for the cost of burial and all that entails with moving the body to Iowa for burial. Any help would be appreciated!

Alex was just 18 and had his music on several apps and streaming services. He went by the name of "Lil Kootch". His grandpa Terry nicknamed him Butchie as he was the eldest of the grandsons and deserved this title! It was a title of respect and he lived up to it being a great son, grandson, nephew and student! He had so much passion for music and expected to grow and thrive with his god given talent. His teachers and employer worshiped him and he was a star no matter what he did in his short life. Taken too soon, this burden is too much to bare in its own without the burden of giving him the peaceful burial that he so deserves and needs to let the family heal in its own time.
