Help Give a Second Chance to a Young Man After Cardiac Arrest! We are reaching out to you with an urgent plea for support. Our beloved Sam Neery, a vibrant and kind-hearted young man, recently suffered a devastating code blue cardiac arrest that has left him fighting for his life. ❤️ On April 9, 2023, Sam’s life took an unexpected turn when his heart stopped beating, and he had to undergo extensive resuscitation efforts and was defibrillated 7 times to restart his heart. While he survived, he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery. Sam was taken to the ER on April 9, 2023, experiencing a heart rate of 200 beats per minute. While under the care of the ER team, Sam went into s arrest and was code blue for over 25 minutes while they worked to resuscitate him. He was intubated and placed in a medically induced coma. Sam was then transferred by ambulance to a Medical Center with a Cardiac ICU. Sam went on to later have 2 Catheter Ablations. While in the ICU Sam ( April 12, 2023) suffer another episode of SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia). Sam was released for home recovery on April 19, 2023, unfortunately, he suffered yet another Supraventricular tachycardia and was again taken by ambulance to the Hospital. Sam will be undergoing a third catheter ablation on June 7, 2023. The medical expenses of spending 10 days in the Cardiac ICU and ongoing treatments, and medical procedures, additional hospital stays, are significant burdens on Sam’s family, both emotionally and financially. They are doing everything they can to ensure he receives the best possible care, but they need our collective help to ease the financial strain. He is an avid gardener, and a huge lover of animals, especially his dogs (he hasn't met a dog or cat that he doesn't love and they love him back). Sam is a recent college graduate with a degree in English and minor in Entrepreneurship. He loves his mom and unselfishly helps me with so much, I am lost with him.
