Hi my name is Kathy , and this Rufus story

Once neglected in a cage amidst filth and neglect, this poor dog endured unimaginable suffering. Subjected to constant exposure to excrement and urine, the dog faced relentless attacks from other canines, further worsening its condition. Bruised and battered, the dog bore the scars of physical abuse, with skin infections, dental issues, and blood-borne infections plaguing its fragile body. Edema plagued its limbs, causing extreme swelling, while severe malnourishment left the dog emaciated and weak. Its fur harbored a pungent odor, infested with mites, fleas, and ticks, a testament to the years of neglect it endured. Left for dead, this resilient soul's journey to recovery is a testament to the enduring spirit of animals despite humanity's cruelty.

Rufus is on a lot of medicine , and needs a lot more tests including blood work X-rays etc.
