My name is Ronald Perdue and I spent the majority of my life helping people as a law enforcement officer in Florida and overseas. Up until around a year ago I was working and had to quit to have a brain tumor removed which was a result of the cancer I have, multiple myeloma. This sickness was and is very costly but thanks to God I was getting by. My Wife and I have raised our Grandson for most of his life and he has been a good boy. A few months ago his best friend shot him for no apparent reason and the court case is pending. As a result of being shot he was out of work for over a month and although physically better his mental state is a mess. My Grandson is 20 years old now and works everyday he can. He has gotten so far behind on his bills he needs a hand up and I don't have a way to help him, no one seems to want to hire me in my condition but I would work if I had the chance. I was reluctant to ask for help in this manner but I have no other choice. I truly feel that if my Grandson doesn't get some help his future will be limited. If you can help him and I am ever able to return the help I gladly would. Thank you for being there and giving some hope to what seemed like a hopeless time. If my Grandson receives any help it will be used to help him get back on his feet and with God's help at least some of the problems will end and we will continue to fight any existing ones.
