Revolution Now is a grassroots organization that was founded in 2021. We are an intersectional movement that works to serve marginalized youth. We are known for running what we believe to be Canada’s first Rainbow Awards, a celebration of 2SLGBTQ+ youth. In our four years of doing the awards, we have recognized over 150 2SLGBTQ+ youth for academic, athletic, artistic and civic excellence. We have also donated over $40,000 in scholarship money and charitable donations to organizations that serve marginalized youth. As we grow, we realize the need to have a change in legal status. We want to go from being a social enterprise to a national charity but this is going to cost thousands of dollars to pursue. We are asking your help in funding this legal change so that we can one day write tax receipts and grow partnerships that help provide safety, scholarships and spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ youth to thrive.
