My name is Rob DeLeo, and since July, my family and I have poured our hearts into reviving Spotlight Theatre Cordele 5. Together with my wife and children, we spent three months working every day, from open to close, painting the entire building inside, replacing all the old light fixtures with new energy-efficient LEDs, and lighting up the once-dark roadside marquee and front building signs. Our goal has always been to create a clean, welcoming, and well-run movie theatre where families and friends in Cordele, Georgia, can come together and make memories.

Sadly, on 11/21/25, the theatre was forced to close its doors due to the sudden reorganization of the parent company. Spotlight Theatre Cordele 5 has been an icon in our city since 1982, and its closure has left a void in our community. Under new ownership as YOLO Cinemas LLC, we are determined to re-open the theatre and continue serving Cordele. However, we need your help to cover the start-up costs, including deposits on utilities and advances to film studios for upcoming movies.
