Hello, I'm Rayna; an artist, community organizer, curator, and folklorist based in New York City. I am raising funds to help me care for myself during the process of going through gender affirmation surgery this spring.

This major and life changing surgery will have a long recovery time and, because of my age and having already undergone several other gender affirming surgeries recently, I will be completely unable to work during the pre and post-op period for a total of eight months.

I'm amazed at the way people have come together to support my previous gender affirming surgery recovery fundraisers. Contributing to this more comprehensive one will help me get over the finish line.

Cover rent and bills during the time I'm unable to work

Purchase recovery materials like compression garments and special bedding to prevent post-op injury or infection

Many people are familiar with my work in electronic music, a field where I have had the joy of inspiring other artists and receiving critical acclaim. Through music and visual arts, I had the opportunity to travel the world, but the work I am proudest of is what I have done in my home city after leaving the touring world five years ago to focus on community organizing.

When I came out publicly as transgender in 2017, my whole life opened up. With your support I can recover confidently and securely from this life changing surgery, a major step in my transition.
