My father was ready to go back to work about a week ago, he had his job lined up after he had knee surgery. Unfortunately, a couple weeks after the surgery, his knee was not healing, he was still in an immense amount of pain, his whole leg was swollen and he had a fever. He had to immediately go to the hospital due to an infection. Thankfully the doctors at Tampa General hospital were able to get him into surgery to clean out the infection as quick as possible. He is now recovering doing better everyday. We are still waiting for him to be released from the hospital but he will be out of work and off his feet for up to six weeks. Due to having a port inserted in him, every week for six weeks he will need to get another dose of antibiotics to fully cure his infection. I am glad he was able to get in and get the care he deserved when he did, because it could have been a lot worse, if he had waited any longer. Although, since he will be out for a month possibly two, we need everyone's help to donate what you can. Right now my dad feels like he needs to go to work so he can make money and pay his bills, but there is no way he will be able to do that. His monthly bills are his main levels of stress and concern. If my family and friends and I can alleviate some of the stress, then all of this was worth it. Thank you in advanced.
