Hello, I’m Ava Palmer from the United States, and I am raising money for my freind Rami in Northern Gaza. Here is the story he asked me to tell you, “My name is Ayman. I'm a father of seven from northern Gaza. I lived a life filled with simple joys and quiet hopes. My children laughed freely, their days shaped by small dreams and the warmth of a safe home. Life wasn't perfect, but it was their life, and it was enough.
Then war broke out.
In moments, everything changed. Their home, once a warm haven and a source of belonging, was lost. With it, the sense of security that every family depends on vanished. All that remained was doubt and fear, a reality no parent can prepare for. Our house was bombed while my family and I were inside. We all sustained minor injuries, but my son Ahmed was shot in the head, causing internal bleeding. We need to get Ahmed out of the country.
Today, Ayman and his children live in a flimsy tent, a shelter that offers no protection from the bitter cold or the constant anxiety that haunts them throughout the night. As darkness falls, his children gather around him, their voices faint but heavy with longing. "When will we go home?" they ask.
Ayman doesn't have a clear answer.
All he can offer them is patience... and prayer.
Behind their quiet resilience lies a daily struggle to secure the most basic necessities of childhood, things no child should be deprived of. Milk to satisfy their hunger. Diapers to preserve their dignity. Glasses so they can see the world clearly again. Essential medicines to protect their fragile health. These are not luxuries; they are the bare minimum every child deserves.
Ayman isn't asking for pity, nor is he asking for more than his due.
He's asking for dignity.
He's asking for a chance—for his children to live in safety, without fear haunting their nights, without hunger weakening their bodies, and without pain scarring their memories. A chance for them to relive their childhood
Your help, no matter how small, can contribute to this opportunity. A single act of kindness can warm their cold nights, feed their hungry, and restore hope to their hearts.
Even if you can't give, sharing this story means more than words can express. It amplifies Ayman's voice, transcending his hardship to reach those who might help change his children's future.
Because for this family, dignity isn't a distant dream; it's a right still waiting to be restored .”
