Help Our Neighbor AV Recover from a House Fire

Donation protected
Our wonderful neighbor, AV, experienced a house fire in his new home this afternoon while he was out shopping for Christmas tree decorations.

AV was recently gifted his home by a non-profit called HeroHomes after he previously was a homeless retired U.S. Army Sergeant who spent his income helping other veterans battling post-traumatic stress with his passion for art. He spends his time volunteering at correctional facilities and works with at-risk youth to help prevent suicide through his art and poetry workshops. His basement was converted to an art studio to continue helping others. He brightens up the neighborhood with his smiles as he walks his dogs.

You can read more about him here:

We would like to show him our support during this challenging time by helping alleviate some of the financial burdens of the situation, such as emergency vet bills for the four dogs who were inside the home, temporary housing costs, and other misc. concerns. We appreciate your consideration during this holiday season.
