Update on Tim Nisly' Motorcycle Accident

Donation protected
Update on Tim. He has been moved from KU Hospital to the Kansas Rehab Hospital in Topeka, KS where he will be for a week or so (the 5th hospital in a month). We’re told he might get to go home by the end of the week, BUT he will have a lot of in-home rehab ahead of him I'm sure he would enjoy a brief phone call from people wishing him well

Tim Nisly is a 1 -man building inspector and contractor in Hutchinson Kansas. Tim is a devout Mennonite and besides doing inspections and contracting for home owners, he has helped his aged father farm. About 2 weeks ago Tim was riding his motorcycle with several friends and he got in an accident out in the country (an unmarked 90 degree turn, loose gravel, etc). Tim went down and ended up with a compound fracture of his ankle / leg along with severely torn up skin that has now required skin grafting and newly constructed blood veins, etc). He was taken to a small rural hospital in Grove Oklahoma where they stabilized the ankle / legand then they moved him to a hospital in Joplin Missouri, where they put pins in his ankle and leg.

That hospital then transferred him to a hospital in Wichita Kansas for skin grafting. Several days after the grafts were placed they got infected and now he’s been moved to the burn center at KU Hospital in Kansas City where he’s been in ICU for several days while they are REDOING most of whats already been done to him.

You know that being in 4 hospitals in 2 weeks there is going to be some VERY big bills, and as a 1-man business he’s gonna be out of work for quite a while while mending. Tim is a super nice guy and his friends and fellow inspectors in Kansas and Missouri would like to help him and his family. We're seeking your prayers and good wishes for his swift and complete recovery during this challenging time as well as any donation you can make to help him and his family.
