This is not something I normally would do. Unfortunately, we ran into a disastrous event on Wednesday night, March 17th when a storm rolled through Petal, MS causing a tree to fall through the roof destroying our home.

We have reached out to various organizations for assistance. MEMA ( Mississippi Emergency Management Association) was unable to assist because we were the only home in the County to be impacted and it did not meet the threshold for assistance. We have had some assistance from a church organization that was able to help replace some of my children's clothing.

I am a single father raising six children along with my elderly father and we are currently living in a hotel. As you know, hotel life is not made for long stays, especially with five kids and an elderly father. My oldest daughter is out on her own.

At this point, We do not have much choice but to suck up pride and go this route. Below are just a few pictures of the damage. Thank you in advance for any amount that you can contribute.
