Help our cooks during water damage repairs

Hi, this is Joy, manager of The Flying Machine Restaurant. Our restaurant had considerable water damage during the freeze in December. A water line broke above us on Christmas Day and flooded the Restaurant. They have removed the ceiling, walls and carpet but have not started the renovation.

The landlord’s insurance only covers the structure. We have no insurance that covers our losses or our cooks’ pay. They have worked for us for 20 years. Unfortunately, if they leave us for another restaurant, we will not be able to reopen. Our cooks are irreplaceable. As far as we can tell, we will be shut down at least another 4 weeks.
