New Dad with no mode of transportation, was pulled over and nearly arrested , had his e-bike IMPOUNDED while riding safely in the Bike Lane! After doing extensive research, he learned E-bikes are legal, but cannot be ridden on the sidewalk , only the bike lane. He was riding safely, in the bike lane to get his new born son his medicine, when he was aggressively pulled over by the local police. The officer almost caused him to crash even! The officer even threatened to arrest him! He impounded the vehicle leaving him with no way to get around now and a 700$ impound fee! Please help us get his wheels back so he can keep being a good dad! Why is Police demonizing people out there doing the right thing? He was not riding unsafely. He was not doing anything illegal! An outrageous setback for a solid father! Please help! The fee continues to grow the longer it stays in impound!
