My name is Neven, and I am fundraising for my parents and younger brothers in Gaza after our family home was completely destroyed in a recent IOF airstrike (Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza strip, 20/05/2026).

My father, Ibrahim Ismail, 60 years old, was arrested by the IOF early in the war, and for a long period our family had no information about his whereabouts or whether he was even alive. The uncertainty, fear, and emotional toll on our family were overwhelming. He was eventually released, but the hardship our family endured during that time left lasting scars.

My mother, Wafaa Ismail, suffers from ongoing health problems. She experiences severe bone pain and has undergone two eye surgeries for a blocked tear duct, but unfortunately her condition remains difficult and continues to affect her daily life.

My younger brother, Mohammad, was born in 2006. Despite the immense challenges of war, displacement, and disrupted education, he successfully completed his secondary education and was recently accepted into a nursing program. But all of his university books, study materials, documents, and personal belongings were lost when our family home was destroyed.

When the bombing happened, my family escaped with only the clothes they were wearing. The house that my parents spent decades building and maintaining is now gone. Nothing could be recovered after the strike.

We are raising funds to help my parents and brothers secure rent fees for temporary housing, replace essential belongings, cover medical expenses, obtain educational supplies, and meet their basic daily needs as they try to rebuild their lives after losing everything.
