Help Needed for Family After Tragic House Fire
My name is Dana Perkins, a neighbor to the White family whose house burned down last night. I have set up this page as a way for neighbors and friends and the community who have asked how they can help.
The White family is facing a devastating loss after a recent house fire in the middle of the night turned their lives upside down. Their home at 602 Fir St SW in DeMotte, Indiana, was a total loss in a matter of hours. This family of five, with grandparents and a young granddaughter, needs your help during a tough time.
Meet the White Family:
• Craig and Patty: Hardworking parents who always put their family first.
• Shyann: A young girl who was seriously burned in the fire trying to wake her grandparents.
• Grandparents: Beloved elders who are currently hospitalized because of injuries sustained in the fire.
The Aftermath:
The fire didn't just rob them of their home; it leaves them with unanticipated expenses and the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. Their immediate needs include medical expenses, temporary shelter, and essential supplies to get by.
How You Can Make a Difference:
While donations of clothing and items are appreciated, monetary contributions are more practical at this time. Your donations will be used for medical bills, living essentials such as clothing, toiletries and groceries and other unanticipated expenses.
Your Contribution Matters:
All sharing matters. Your generosity will make a significant impact on the White’s family's journey towards recovery. By contributing, you become a beacon of hope in their time of need.
Thank you for your support and for extending a helping hand to this family in their time of crisis. Your help is greatly appreciated.
