Since age two, dance has been Nadia’s world. It’s where she shines, grows, and dreams bigger every day, pouring her heart into every move, leap, and routine.
This past fall, Nadia attended the 1820 Dance Convention in Saskatoon eager to learn, grow, and challenge herself as a dancer. Shortly after the convention, she received the incredible news that she had been invited to join World Performers Canada’s National Dance Team. The moment was filled with surprise, excitement, and a deep sense of honour — a dream opportunity that marked a major milestone in her dance journey.
We are incredibly proud to share that Nadia has been selected to represent Canada as a member of World Performers Canada’s National Dance Team, competing at the Dance World Cup in Dublin, Ireland in July 2026.
The Dance World Cup is one of the largest and most prestigious international dance competitions in the world, bringing together over 10,000 dancers from more than 60 countries. Being chosen to compete on this global stage is a tremendous achievement and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Nadia’s love for dance began at just two years old, inspired by watching her big sister dance. She started her journey at Performing Arts Warehouse in Prince Albert, and after her family moved to Warman, she found her dance home at Dancer’s Edge — an amazing studio and community that has played a huge role in her growth as both a dancer and a person. Today, Nadia trains almost every day of the week in lyrical, modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and acro, continually striving to improve and challenge herself.
This year marked another exciting milestone as Nadia earned a spot on The Doghouse, Saskatoon’s elite competitive hip hop crew. She previously spent two years with Warman Ultimate Cheer, where she developed valuable skills in athleticism, teamwork, confidence, and performance that continue to strengthen her as a well-rounded performer.
We are incredibly fortunate to belong to a dance community that lifts each other up, shares their time and encouragement, and celebrates every achievement along the way. The support Nadia has received — through kind words, volunteering, helping with fundraisers, and donations — has been truly inspiring and heartwarming.
Being selected for the National Dance Team is a major step toward Nadia’s dream of becoming a professional dancer, and she is incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Participation on the National Team is self-funded, with total costs estimated to be well over $10,000, including choreography fees, costumes, flights, accommodations, meals, and transportation.
This GoFundMe has been created to help cover the travel-related expenses required for Nadia to attend the Dance World Cup in Ireland. Every donation — big or small — and every share helps bring Nadia one step closer to representing Canada on the world stage. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is just as meaningful and deeply appreciated.
Nadia will have her family, friends, and dance community in her heart as she takes the stage in Dublin, proudly representing Canada. Thank you for supporting Nadia, her dedication, and her dream. Your generosity truly means the world to us ❤️
