Help My Son Chris & Family Overcome Covid-19

My name is Priscilla Sanchez.  I am a life long resident of Gallup, New Mexico.  I am  sharing my son’s fight for his life and asking for your support.

On November 22nd, my youngest son Chris Sanchez was admitted to the hospital in Albuquerque with COVID-19. As the day progressed his breathing became more and more difficult and he was eventually moved to the ICU unit. He was intubated on Tuesday and continues to be in a fight for his life. 

My husband Pat and I are proud and hardworking. It is difficult for us to ask for help. However, under these dire circumstances, we made a difficult and careful decision to ask for your help.  We are raising funds on behalf of Chris and his family to assist with medical, and living expenses to help offset costs during this difficult time while Chris is unable to work and continues to be in ICU.

Chris is 43 years old. He is a loving, kind, giving father, brother, and husband.  Outside of his job, he is generous with his time serving as a  volunteer football coach and drumming for the church worship team. His wife Angelica is taking on the strong role of talking daily with Chris’s Medical team, while they are tending to him, and taking care of their family while also working.

We are asking everyone for continuous prayer for a fast recovery. We pray that he overcomes this devastating virus.  We have hope and faith that he will.  He will face a long and difficult road ahead, it will take time to recover and it is unknown if he will have future medical issues.

One of the most devastating impacts of the virus, is that Chris is fighting this battle alone, COVID restrictions forbid all visitors which is making this even more difficult for Chris and our family.

As a proud parents, we do not take this request lightly. My family and I understand that many people are facing hardship at this time of the pandemic. I ask that you open your hearts and consider a donation on behalf of my son.
