Hi my name is Charlot and I've set up this gofundme to help my mom pay lawyer fees in order to get compensation from the workplace that injured her and then fired her illegally.

My mom, Judith Kristensen, seen on the left in the picture above, has been home sick from work since January this year.

She was working in a factory where she injured her left shoulder in an accident last year in October that has prevented her from getting back on her feet. Her lower back was also injured and both her knees have shown severe cartilage damaged on her MRI scans from standing and lifting heavy things for years. All these injuries have caused immense pains for almost a year, she can't use her left arm at all and she's not able to stand, walk or sit for more than 15mins at a time.

She's been seen by several doctors and specialists and they've now determined she needs two surgeries due to her recent MRI scans, one for her shoulder and one for her lower back. We have also been told that this might not solve her issues and she may never be able to go back to work again.

While all this has been going on, there is also a work insurance claim for compensation for her shoulder injury that's still being processed, this has however been delayed for months so she now needs a lawyer to push her case.

Up to now her work was paying for her sick leave but this month they decided to fire her while her claim is still ongoing. My mom had a permanent contract there and her firing notice made no mention of her being on sick leave due to a work injury.

This has put my family in a difficult financial situation.

We now need to quickly get a lawyer on the case so that she can speed up the process on her injury claim, and we will also need a second lawyer regarding her being fired illegally.

For now we're looking to raise €2000 for the first lawyer's deposit, this is only for the deposit and there may be further expenses. We will also need to raise fund for the second lawyer once we know how much they will be taking. I'll keep updating this gofundme for any further expenses.

Unfortunately the first lawyer will need the deposit paid by the 6th of September so we don't have a lot of time.
