Help My Mom Fight Against Heart Failure
Donation protected
February of 2023, my mom went to the ER for heart burn that wouldn’t let up with any medicine. They saw something strange and sent her to a cardiologist for extra tests. What every family’s worse nightmare became our reality. My mom was diagnosed with heart failure at the young age of 42. Our lives got turned upside down learning what my mom can no longer do/eat. She wasn’t allowed to stress at all because that would make the heart failure worse, but we all know how hard that is normally with two little boys at the ages of three and five.
Along with this diagnosis comes a slew of medication, rehabilitation and equipment to help her live the longest, fullest life possible. She’s got Doctors appointments every couple weeks, and Cardiac Rehabilitation 3 times a week. She’s had to watch what she eats and how much fluid she drinks. She’s no longer able to go to the gym because her heart rate can’t get past a certain point, she’s not allowed caffeine, salt, and alcohol. Now she has to take multiple medications daily which have tons of side affects. This diagnosis has had an effect on the entire family.
My mom is the strongest woman I know. She’s been through so much more than anyone I know, while working full time and parenting 2 young boys. She is now looking for a second job to help with all her bills, She never likes to ask for help even when she needs it the most.
My mom loves helping people before she helps herself, and I am determined to help her during this difficult time. We are hoping to help offset the cost of medical expenses for my mom and our family. If you would like to assist with this enormous financial burden, any donation through this go fund me would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly to mom’s medical costs. On behalf of my family we have absolutely appreciated the outpouring of support and love over the last many months. We would be so appreciative for any financial help you can provide, small or big, to assist in mom’s road to recovery.
On behalf of our entire family, we thank you.
