Hi, my name is Camilla and I live in Sweden with my daughter Leonella, two dogs and a cat.

On Easter we received our greatest egg ever from the Easter bunny, a little pup from a shelter in Bulgaria.

Her name is Freja, and she’s a happy dog with lots of energy! Her big sister Esther is really good with her, but I can tell she thinks her baby sister is a pin in the butt sometimes.

Right from the start we noticed that she trembled with her right front leg. I wrote to the woman in the rescue shelter, and she told me that they had seen a local vet about it.

She had been told that it was a common state of young dogs down there, since they might lack of nutrients and vitamins and was given some pills which were supposed to contain B-vitamines.

Since Freja’s stay here we’ve only seen her get worse; she drags her paw when she walks, and the leg is twitching all the time. (Even when she sleeps.) I had a bad feeling about her leg from the start, and my guess it that she suffers from an old trauma. I think something has happened to her earlier on, something that we don’t know about. :(

So, what’s the case with the Go Fund me raise?

Frankly, I recently became unemployed and haven’t yet been informed when I’ll get money from my unemployment department. (Sorry, I’m Swedish and don’t know all the right words.)

I have quite the anxiety of knowing if I’m able to pay my bills this month or not, but I feel that it’s more important for me to give Freja the proper help she needs and must have! 

I have a booked appointment to a most amazing vet on Monday April 26th, and hopefully she’ll know how to proceed in this matter to make Freja healthy as she should be. If it comes to the fact that Freja’s going to need surgery for her leg it’ll be a great cost.
