Help Mitzi Battle Stage 4 Cancer & Stroke

Hi, my name is Matthew Gerstenfeld, and I’m writing on behalf of my amazing sister, Mitzi. Our lives were turned upside down when Mitzi was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma—a particularly aggressive form of cancer that has spread beyond its original site. The road ahead is incredibly difficult. To make matters even more challenging, Mitzi suffered a stroke shortly after being discharged from her second hospital stay, adding yet another hurdle to her already overwhelming fight.

Mitzi has always been a caring, compassionate soul who lights up every room she enters. Now, she’s facing the fight of her life, and the challenges are immense. Between rigorous treatment protocols, frequent hospital visits, and the side effects of powerful medications, each day is a battle. Despite all of this, Mitzi’s spirit remains unbroken. She continues to smile and inspire everyone around her with her strength and determination.

However, the financial burden of this disease is overwhelming. Even with insurance, there are massive out-of-pocket expenses for:

• Life-saving treatments and medications

• Travel and accommodation for specialist appointments

• Additional therapies and supportive care

• Daily living costs during her recovery period
