Help Mitchell Fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
In 2012, Mitchell and his family received news that no one wants to hear: he was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3, a rare type of malignant brain tumor. Since then, Mitchell has gone through numerous tests, surgeries and treatments. He has been a fighter, beating statistics where the life expectancy for adults with grade 3 tumor is 2 to 3 years.
In October 2017, his condition started to deteriorate. Tests revealed the tumor continued to grow aggressively and is now grade 4 glioblastoma. As his condition worsen, his doctors said there was nothing else they can do but to recommend hospice care. As of today (October 24, 2017), he’s unable to see, move and eat
With his wife, Sopen Phengkhamhack, taking time off to care for her husband and their two young boys, bills and medical expense started to pile up. She is taking FMLA leave; however, they are unpaid leave of absence. We are gathering funds to assist her family with the many anticipated expense that will come. If you’re unable to make a donation, please keep Mitchell and his family in your prayers.
Thank you for your support and prayers!
