Hi Friends--I'm Missi.

Just last year, I had to have a major surgery-- to remove a football sized tumor that was crushing my bladder & to have a full hysterectomy. It was a rough time & you all helped me get thru it. I thought I'd be okay for awhile after that--but now I'm going to be having another surgery. I have developed multiple hernias--one of which is very large & advanced. It doesn't hurt, but it hinders my movement . I am having surgery this coming Friday 10/17. The surgeon is going to try to repair them laproscopic first, though he may need to make a bigger incision & fix the large one the "old fashioned way". After that, the surgery has a recovery time of approximately 6 weeks. Could be longer--especially if it can't all be done laproscopic. I have a tentative return to work date of 12/1.

So now I'm on medical leave again. I have an ekg & other tests this Monday.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help me pay medical bills, & regular living expenses ( bills/ groceries/ etc), while I'm unable to work again. I should get disability once all the paperwork for my claim is approved & finalized--last time they were about 60% of my check. & theres a waiting period of 7 days. I'm sorry to ask for help again--& I know times are tough for everyone these days. I didn't expect to be dealing with something like this again --just a year later.
