Hello I'm Michelle Whitmarsh mother , 3 years ago she was having our grandson and was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon cancer. Back in November of 2024 she was life flighted where she had to under go surgery and ended up with a colostomy bag doctors said she needed more chemo to help shrink the cancer with hopes to remove it unfortunately in May of this year things took a bad turn where the chemo was attacking her blood cells which had made her more sick and she ended up with a flesh eating bacteria and had to under go more surgery's and was put on a ventilator. She stabilized and for the most part is still doing good. They moved her to a longer term facility for better wound care and for rehabilitation. Now she facing issues with her Kidneys. I am told she has fluid on them and they were going to wait and do a work up on her kidneys tomorrow but decided it could not wait.so she is being transferred back to the bigger hospital today. She has been in the hospital since May and was hoping to go home soon but this I am sure has put a damper on things as far as that goes. To me this is very concerning and being so far away is very hard. We are not people that generally ask for much from anyone. Usually we figure it out on our own. I was planning other fundraisers but have been very busy. So we are once again asking for help as her family trying to raise money for travel expenses and to help out with the her kids anything helps if you can't afford to donate even a share is very much appreciated thank you to all for the love and support from the whitmarsh family.
