Help Michelle and Brandon rebuild after Hurricane Helene

Hi, my name is Kacey, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to help my dear friends Michelle and Brandon, who recently experienced an unimaginable loss due to Hurricane Helene in St. Pete, FL. Their world was turned upside down when the storm hit, and they now face the overwhelming challenge of starting over with their two young kids, Lincoln (8) and Finn (3), and their beloved dog, Rooster.

Michelle and Brandon had no choice but to evacuate their home as the hurricane approached. They left with only a suitcase of essentials, never imagining the devastation that awaited them upon their return. Their rental home was flooded with 4-5 feet of water, making it completely uninhabitable. They’ve lost nearly everything—their furniture, their children’s toys, books, cherished mementos—everything that made their house a home is gone.

Right now, they are staying with friends in St. Pete, but this is only temporary. With nowhere else to turn and no belongings left, they need to find a new place to live and rebuild their lives from scratch.

It’s hard to imagine the emotional toll this has taken on Michelle and Brandon, not to mention the confusion and fear their young kiddos are feeling. Despite their strength and resilience, they can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
