Hello,
My name is Mia (Chen). I have been in Australia for 2 years on a working holiday visa. Last month I got a cold, I felt really sick so I went to the doctor. He couldn't explain what was happening with my body. After 3 weeks I got worse, so I came to Brisbane for more tests.
The medical staff discovered that I have advanced lung cancer Stage 3 (it is already spread in my others organs). I am getting worse and worse with everyday that passes.
I am 30 years old, I don’t even smoke!
You could ask why do i not go home? Trust me, this was the first thing I wanted to but the answer was: You could die on the plane. I cannot go home to be with my family now.
I have insurance but it doesn't cover all the treatments I need and my savings are not enough to afford the total of the costs. That is why I am asking for your help, I know the last year has been hard for everyone but any cents will really help me.

PS: I am Camila (I am from Chile but I am in Australia) I’m Mia’s friend and I am managing this account but I want to let you know that I am in contact with Mia every day, & all the money we will collect is going directly to Mia to pay for the hospital, medical tests, medicine, treatment & everything she could need during & after her stay in the hospital.
