Help Me To Get The Operation The NHS Are Refusing!
Donation protected
My name is Robert. On November 7th, 2010, I crashed my car and broke my right upper arm in 3 places. One on the bone itself a clean break and two on the ball that fits into the shoulder socket. 7 months later, the York Hospital operated and put a titanium implant in and for 5 years or so it was fine, till it snapped.
The surgeon at my now local hospital in Sheffield refuses to operate due to my weight and sleep apnea, choosing to do nothing and I am forced to live the rest of my days like this or go abroad for an operation or go private and pay for it. Since January 2025 the break area has been plagued with a massive Staphylococcus infection and I am now on permanent antibiotics. Not good. I'm so depressed because of it.
I'm guessing 5k to cover it but that is only a guess. If funds start to appear, then I shall make contact with the surgeons abroad with a view to going to them for the operation.
If you can aid my plight, please do so. As the famous store says, "every little helps."
Thanks.
