My name is Chana Piperno. I am 19 and I just graduated from Ohel Chana High School in Los Angeles. Next year I would like to go to seminary in Israel and have a year of spiritual and emotional learning and growth. I really don't want to miss out on the experience and opportunity to grow and develop personally, spiritually, and academically.

I come from a family of 9 kids, K'H, and my mother is now a single parent, widowed 7 years ago. She is hard-working, loving, and will do anything for her children. She works two full-time jobs to make ends meet and put a roof over our heads and food on the table. Unfortunately, my mother can not afford to pay for my seminary tuition, so I decided to go out of my comfort zone and put together this fund to ask for some financial help.

My goal is to raise $18,000 to pay the school tuition. I know it is a lot to ask for, but it would help ease the burden on my mother immensely. I'd really appreciate any support at all, as every penny counts. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
