Help me get back to Adventures with a Mobility Scooter
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Adam, and at the grand age of 36, my life changed overnight. I suffered a stroke that took away my independence, my career, and the active lifestyle I once loved.
Before my stroke, I was a self-employed roofer—always on the go, working hard, and enjoying life’s adventures. But in an instant, everything shifted. The stroke left me with cognitive damage, weakness, and fatigue, and as a result, I have been permanently banned from driving. Losing my ability to drive has been one of the hardest parts of this journey, leaving me feeling isolated and stuck at home unless someone is available to take me out.
I miss the simple joys—going to the shop when I feel like it, visiting the park, or just having the freedom to get some fresh air on my own terms. A mobility scooter would give me back a sense of freedom, allowing me to explore, regain independence, and feel like me again.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Your support will help me get back to enjoying life outside my four walls and rediscovering the adventures I’ve missed so much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. Even sharing this page would be a huge help!
