Help me fund "Fk(-)boys": A Student Graduation short film

Hi my name is Ilaria Tonetti and I’m an Italian film student currently based in Berlin!

I’m raising funds to complete my graduation short film, titled “Fk (-) Boys.” The title is still a work in progress, but it already gives a sense of the film’s tone and mood. As you might guess, it involves boys...but the story goes deeper than that: it’s a coming-of-age comedy/drama portrait that explores the emotional fallout of a breakup, the performance of confidence, and the fear of vulnerability. The context is Berlin 2025: dating.

The story follows Sofia, a young woman who has just ended an intense long-term relationship. One night, she goes out with her friends to escape her feelings, meets a distant and charming stranger, and spends the night wandering through Berlin: trying to distract from her pain. It's fresh, it's raw, it's authentic.

This film means a lot to me. It’s deeply personal: it reflects my experience of moving to a new city, navigating love, loneliness, and identity in my twenties. While the story is fictional, it touches on emotions and situations that are deeply relatable: heartbreak, freedom, and the search for connection in a fast-paced, disconnected world. I want this film to speak to anyone who’s ever felt lost and alive at the same time. For anyone who feels that home is both where they come from and where they live now. For those who’ve suffered through love, and who know that in a world shaped by individualism, finding deep and honest connection isn’t always easy.

The funds will go directly to me, and I’ll manage the budget carefully to make sure every cent supports the production. I’ll also keep donors updated as the project progresses.
