I need help achieving a dream I’ve fought incredibly hard for: graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with my business degree. I am a senior international student from Brazil, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and now, in my final year, I face a tuition hurdle that feels impossible to overcome alone. Right now, I need $28,150 by February 2nd to graduate.

I came to UT in the Fall of 2021 with an NGO secured to sponsor the cost of my attendance, but after they defaulted on their financial commitment multiple times, the full weight of my out-of-state tuition fell on me to pay.

Since then I’ve explored every possible option to fund my education. I’ve been able to secure $18,000 in scholarships from the university, and I’ve applied loans, but without an American guarantor, I’ve been unable to secure one. And I’ve used the entirety the earnings from my summer internship at McKinsey & Company (along with help from my friends and family) to pay down some of what I owe.

Now, to fulfill my dream of walking the stage and earning my degree from UT Austin, I need to raise $83,033 to pay off my $57,480 in overdue tuition and to fund the $25,553 in additional tuition for my final semester this coming spring.

I never imagined I'd have to turn to others for help, but I’m now at a point where your generosity could make all the difference.
