Hi everyone. You all know me, Gerald, Harry, Big G, Tip the Kettle, peacemaker. I want to first say thanks to everyone so far who took care of my wife while I was in the ICU/hospital. CBC, Sean Metcalf, John Taylor. And others especially Ann and Mark. We are very blessed for all your love and support.
On Thursday the 7th of June I went to work. At Terminix I am an inspector. I go up into attics and for the 7th and 8th it was past 100. Attics can get way hotter. By Friday afternoon I had a full blown heat stroke that brought on ketoacidosis. That’s why my blood sugar levels were over 800 and I was in a diabetic coma. Scared me.
These funds will help me so much. I’m not sure whether I will be getting workers comp or disability. I have doing paperwork since the day after I got home. That’s been pretty stressful. I’m on a 30 day leave of advance. One of the drs that saw me was a cardiologist because I kept having Afib. All this has accumulated and without any wages my copay is very high. Rentokil has already denied the first try for short-term disability I don’t know which way I’m supposed to go now but God fights my battles.
