Help me and others experience skiing in the only way we can!
Donation protected
A story of new beginnings, living with spinal cord injury and creating magic along the way.
Phase1:
- $2000 towards ski registration, passes, fuel, gloves, goggles and boots
Phase 2:
- $4500 to pay for a second hand Mono-Sitski
I have been graciously allowed to use a second hand Nissin Torrino mono ski, while I get the funds together to pay for said ski.
As a thank you every $20 donation will receive a set of 2 zodiac inspired thank you cards designed by me!

I am an Artist and graphic designer living and exploring the Canadian Rockies. My life was turned upside down after a motorcycle accident when I was 21 years old.
A 22 day coma, a year in hospital, mainly confined to a wheelchair, physio, pain and serious perseverance got me out of the chair and onto 2 crutches. It took another 3 years to get to walking with 1 crutch/cane. However this is not a sob story!
I immigrated to Canada 6 years ago and in Feb 2024 I got the opportunity to try adaptive snow sports in the form of sit skiing. It was the first time since my accident I experienced the kind of speed and a sense of freedom I miss.
My dream is to start an adaptive sit-ski program at Whitewater Ski Hill, outside Nelson, BC. So others living with spinal cord injury can experience the Canadian Rockies like they were meant to.
