Help Me Begin My Recovery Journey
$540 raised of
In October of 2025 I began my recovery journey at an inpatient treatment center. Ive since been to 2 inpatients and im wrapping up on the 3rd stay on July 10th. I'm beginning a new chapter in my life, focused on recovery and healing my mind and my body as well as interpersonal relationships.
I have experienced a tremendous amount of grief over the last 3 years and my addiction took off full force leaving me with little to nothing to show for my life. Now I am ready to rebuild.
After living with my mother for years, I've realized that its time for me to move out on my own and I need to create a space where I can truly focus on my recovery, a place that has no ties to my addiction so im moving to sober living. This decision hasn't been easy, but it's necessary for my growth and future. My rent will be $625 a month and I need help for the first month or two. If I can get the full 700 it will be split between 2 months
along with my cash assistance. This money will not be for transportation, food or leisure.
I got a job with Rover. I will be doing full time IOP (Intensive outpatient treatment) Monday-Friday. I will be looking for more work very part time. It is still hard for me to do a lot in a day. Now that I'm sober my fibromayalgia pain is full fledged. I'm trying to do everything I can. My plan is to stay in sober living for 3-6 months and then rent a room somewhere for my cats and I.
Moving out means starting over, and while I'm determined to make this transition, the costs of rent and utilities for my first month are more than I can manage alone. Your support will help me secure a safe place to live, where I can concentrate on my recovery and build a healthier, happier life. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference in helping me take this important step toward independence and healing. I am but a fledgling in a large world of possibilities.
Please share my fundraiser with friends and family. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me, and I appreciate any help you can offer as I begin this journey. Thank you for believing in me and supporting my path to recovery. I deeply appreciate you all and wouldn't be here without the support ive been given by my generous and loving friends.
