My name is Mostafa Abu Habel, and I am reaching out with a heart full of both hope and desperation.

I’m 25 years old. Just a few months before the war began, I graduated with Distinction in my BSc in Engineering. It has always been my dream to pursue an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering and become a specialist in this field. But everything changed in October 2023.

My family and I are currently in Gaza City, where every day is a fight to survive — under constant bombardment, without food, without clean water, and with fear as a constant companion. I’m here with my parents, Khaled (59) and Fatema (50), my sisters Yasmine (32), Zahra (29), Israa (26), and Baraa' (23), and my brothers Mahmoud (33) and Karim (15). Our lives are at risk every single moment. There is no safe place, no security, and no promise that we will make it to tomorrow.

I am raising money to help save my family and myself. This fund will allow us to:

• Afford safe shelter and basic food to survive the current crisis.

• Evacuate from Gaza when an opportunity arises and escape the war.

• Eventually, reunite me with my beautiful fiancée, Farah, outside Gaza and give us a chance to start a new life from scratch.

Every dollar brings us one step closer to safety, to freedom, and to a future where we can simply live without fear. The situation is urgent — time is running out.
