McLovin is the best cat. He’ll be 3 yrs old in May. He’s a big goofy cat and yes he’s named after the character from Superbad (it was between that and Mohammed).
When I adopted him, I promised I would do everything I could to help him live a long, happy life, and now that includes doing something I hate to do: ask for money.
Recently, McLovin was diagnosed with FLUTD: feline lower urinary tract disease. It causes blockages in his urinary tract which have to be removed. We’ve taken him to the urgent care vet twice. Essentially, they told us this will only keep happening until his kidneys fail. To prevent that he needs a surgery called perineal urethrostomy (PU). Without this surgery, he’ll keep getting blockages and his kidneys will eventually fail, which he won’t survive. I sunk my savings into paying everything I can. As you can imagine, the veterinary bills aren’t cheap for all this, and I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it alone. The funds raised will go directly toward his surgery and ongoing care, giving him the chance to celebrate many more birthdays.
If you’re able to help, even a little, it would mean the world to both of us. Your support will give McLovin the chance he deserves to live a long, healthy life. Thank you so much for taking the time reading our story and considering a donation.
