Help Matt and Murray get back to Canada

As you likely know, due to a series of unfortunate events, most of the touring Dayglos were arrested on August 30th.

After being pulled over between gigs on a highway in Ashland Ohio due to a wonky license plate on the van, Murray and Matt were arrested. The driver / bass player Shane was ditched on the side of the road and the van and gear impounded. Murray and Matt were taken to jail over a long weekend and Party Time was sent to a lab for examination.

Two days later Murray was released without charge but unfortunately Matt was charged and has to appear in court this Friday September 5th. Lawyer Jim Heller has been looking into things to aide the boys.

Matt’s (and my) daughter Seleighne has been raising funds to help with bail, and is raised the 5k USD needed… but there are potential fines, van impound fees, the legal tally so far, hotel expenses, grub, a button up shirt for court and travel dollars to get Matt and Murray  back to Canada as soon as possible after shits taken care of.

Seleighne posted 10% bond this morning to get Matt released on bail with conditions.

Cross your fingers and toes with us. Seleighne, and Murray’s kids just want their dads home. We, as a punk community just want our brothers home.
