Help Marwan's Family Find Safety Again

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Mohammed Nasser, and I am from Gaza.

I am organizing this fundraiser to support my brother, Marwan Nasser, his wife, and their two young children, Niraz (4.5 years old) and Layla (1.5 years old), who are currently displaced and struggling to survive due to the devastating war in Gaza.

Marwan, a 34-year-old lawyer, and his wife, also a lawyer, worked hard to build a safe and loving home for their family. However, since October 7th, their lives have been completely upended. They were forced to flee their home under bombardment and now live in Al-Zawaida, Gaza, in a small tent with extremely limited access to food, water, shelter, and medical care.

How the funds will help:
The donations will be used to provide Marwan and his family with essential needs:

Food and clean water
Clothing and blankets
Medicine and healthcare for their children
Safe temporary shelter
I will ensure that the funds are transferred directly to Marwan through trusted and secure methods that are accessible within Gaza.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help give Marwan’s family the chance to survive, heal, and restore some stability in their lives. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with others to spread their story.

Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support.

This is Marwan Nasser's, Family Story

My name is Marwan Nasser, a 34-year-old father and lawyer from Gaza. I write this with a heavy heart, struggling to find the words to describe the pain my family and I are enduring. Gaza has always been home—a place I’ve known only under the relentless grip of a blockade. Yet, it was where I built my life, my career, and my dreams.

I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Al-Azhar University and spent over a decade practicing law with pride and passion. My wife, who is also a lawyer with a background in Sharia and Law, shares my dedication to justice. We married in 2019, full of hope and determination to create a beautiful future together.

Our greatest blessings are our two children: Niraz, our playful and curious four-and-a-half-year-old son, and Layla, our sweet little girl, just a year and a half old. They are the light of our lives. We rented a small, modest apartment and worked tirelessly to give them a home filled with love, laughter, and safety. For us, it was more than a house—it was a sanctuary where our children could experience the innocence and joy every child deserves.

Before October 7th

But everything changed on October 7th.

The echoes of bombings and artillery shattered our lives in an instant. We were forced to flee our home, leaving behind everything we had built and cherished. With only a few belongings in our hands and fear in our hearts, we sought safety in the unknown. Now, we live in a small, overcrowded tent, where even the basics of life—food, clean water, and warmth—are a daily struggle.

The pain of seeing my children suffer is unbearable. Niraz, once full of laughter and curiosity, now looks at me with eyes clouded by fear and confusion. Layla, my baby girl, clings to her mother, seeking comfort in a world that no longer feels safe. They don’t understand why their home is gone, why their toys are lost, or why the nights are filled with the sounds of explosions instead of bedtime stories.

My wife and I, both once proud professionals, are now unable to provide even the simplest necessities for our children. The war has taken away not just our home and jobs, but the security and peace we worked so hard to give them. Every day, I see their small hands reaching for the life they once knew, and every day, I feel the crushing weight of being unable to give it back to them.

As a father, nothing hurts more than watching your children lose their innocence, their smiles, and their sense of safety. I write this not as a lawyer, but as a father desperate to restore a shred of normalcy for his family. I am reaching out to you, hoping that your kindness can help us rebuild the pieces of our shattered lives.

If you can’t donate, please share our story. Let the world know that my children, like so many others, are waiting for the light of hope to shine through the darkness.
