Help Marti Carry On

Hello, I'm Jenn the daughter of Marti & Bruce Little. Most of you know me.

Mom and Dad left our home in Michigan mid December to visit Jason & Jeremy for the holidays, see their grandkids and dear friends Donna and Stan, and avoid most of the cold Michigan winter. It was a great plan!

On January 2nd Dad was taken to the Emergency room. He tested positive for Covid, and was almost recovered when he fell in the hospital and broke his hip. The surgery and isolation proved to be too much and after battling for over a month, he passed peacefully in his sleep February 11.

Now we move on to celebrate his life and mourn our loss together. In the midst of all of this, there are a lot of bills and expenses... and a lot of overwhelm for my Mom.

Next door neighbors and high school sweethearts, they have been each other's all in all for almost 60 years. Married for 54 years on January 26. They had such an adventure together, and embodied the vows they recited to one another... in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in good times and bad times until death they did not part. There are not many people that have lived the highest of highs and lowest of lows with one person by their side always, but Bruce and Marti did just that.

I am starting this GoFundMe for her. I am hoping to ease her mind and help her make it through these rough roads ahead. I am hoping she sees how valued and loved she is as she takes these next steps forward. We can't replace my dad, and we wouldn't try... but we can show her just how much she means.
