Please can I ask for your help??

Hi my name is Marse.

I have had MS since 2003 and have had two relapses in 2 years leaving me
 unable to walk or stand.

I am now wheelchair bound, and have   to live downstairs.
I also have Bipolar disorder.

I have a hospital bed in my living room.

I have lived in my house for 30 years     and do not want to move as it would    not benefit me mentally or physically.

After many years..
The Disabled facilities Grant has at last been awarded to me!!

This will allow adaptions to be done       around the house and to give me a         better quality way of life.

The adaptions will allow me to be able  to cook for myself, to have a bit more     independence, and to be able to get      outside my front and back garden with lots of pot plants which I adore.

Automatic front and back doors  will     allow me to get in and out with  the          wheelchair. Ramps will be installed.

I will also  finally have a wet room put in downstairs, as I have not been able to  have a proper shower in over 2 years !

I have carers 3 times a day to wash me and help me genuinely around the          house .

Once this work is completed the only    thing that will be left to do is the floor .

The vinyl floor is very rotten and old!
If I fall out of my wheelchair onto it,
I could seriously hurt myself, as it is on direct concrete!!!  I need softer vinyl.

However the budget will not stretch to this.
I wasn't going to get this done, but it's   rotten. It is 30 years old!
If i can raise the money, the builders 
can do the job whilst they are here!!
it's a golden opportunity for me to get     everything done at once!

The housing association won't help        with the floor so it's down to me to
find the funds.

Go Fund Me was a recommendation       from  a friend!

I do not like asking for money at all.         it  makes me feel sick!!
I am  a very proud  woman!!  However  swallowing my pride, 
I would like to reach out and ask for       your help please?

If we can raise £3,000 I will be able to    have new vinyl put down on the floor in the front room and in the hallway, and also get the stairs and landing done as    well. The hallway and landing will also  be decorated as that is rotten too!!!
 
The £3,000 raised would mean that the house will be complete. With  new vinyllaid and decorated too!!

This house has had nothing but abuse    in it over the years , and so this will be a completely new start for me . 

My MS is now progressing, so it will        now allow me to enjoy my house with  no worries, should there be any sudden complications.
