Help Majd and His Family Leave Gaza

Hello, my friends. I am Majd Ahmed Awad, and I want to tell you my story. My family and I live together in a tent in the displaced persons camp, all 12 of us, my mother and I. My father, Ahmed Awad, had surgery in Jerusalem in 2015. The operation was performed on the spinal cord, and because of that, my father became disabled and now uses a walker. He usually receives physical therapy, but due to the circumstances, he cannot receive proper care. Here, the suffering does not stop. We lost our home, our loved ones, and many others.

We live in constant fear, and we ask each of you to find it in your hearts and help us. The person organizing this fundraiser was kind enough to allow us to share our story as we had difficulties connecting to the internet. We are urgently seeking assistance to get our family out of Gaza. We have been evacuated several times in search of safe shelter. There is no safe place in Gaza. Every area is targeted, and bombings occur without any warning. The places they were asked to flee to are still being targeted. To survive, we must raise $7,000 per person to leave Gaza via the Egyptian border (Rafah checkpoint). In the hope of saving our beloved family, we hope you can help provide them with safety and protection. Prices change day by day as Gazans try to flee. The ongoing conflict in Gaza has left families fearful and uncertain, and we are coming together to provide essential support. This campaign aims to provide much-needed assistance to families seeking safety and refuge from the devastating effects of war.
