Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This afternoon, our beloved friend and caregiver, Madison St. Marie, lost her home in a devastating fire. Madison has been there for so many of us—caring for us during and after childbirth, looking after our children at local daycare and in her warm, welcoming home, and offering steady friendship and support to countless members of our community.
Madison is a single mother to two incredible girls who, like their mom, are kind, thoughtful, and beloved by all who know them.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Our immediate goal is to get Madison and her daughters safely housed as quickly as possible. In the coming weeks, many of us will be organizing local fundraisers and donation drives, but for now, we’re kicking things off here. Please consider donating what you can—and check back for updates and other ways to help.
If you prefer to donate via VENMO, her account is
@Madison-Stmarie-Brown and the last 4 digits of her phone are 6305
Let’s wrap Madison and her girls in the love and care that they’ve so generously given to all of us.
With gratitude,
Nina
