Help Lily with Intensive Therapy Treatment

Lily Davies has been accepted to the NAPA Centre Australia in Sydney which is a world-renowned facility for providing pediatric therapy in a specialised environment. They will be in Sydney for intensive therapy sessions for 3 weeks in August. Lily’s parents (Tiffany Bye and Michael Davies) will be driving Lily to Sydney for some specialized treatment and need some assistance in making this happen. They have an offer of accommodation from a family friend but will need to fund petrol, food and expenses while Lily is undertaking the therapy. Lily’s mum has some paid leave but will taking time off work without pay.

This is a little bit about Lily.

Hi my name is Lily and I am 3 and a half years old.

My family and I have had a difficult 3 years trying to find out what is going on. Many medical tests, blood tests, hospital and specialist visits and the doctors say I’m a mystery and I am complicated. I have a condition which is called hypotonia meaning I have low muscle tone and doctors have told Mum and Dad that I fall into the category of undiagnosed Global developmental delay. At 11 months I was able to sit unaided and just over the age of 2 I started to crawl to get where I need to go. I have a PEG which feeds me via a tube to help me get the nutrients I need, as eating is problematic for me. I am non verbal, generally very happy and smile all the time, but I really need this intense program to give me the best chance to progress.
