On November 29th around 11am Allyssa and I were heading to lunch in her car. As we entered the intersection to get gas we were hit by a high speed pursuit suspect from a chase on my driver side going 95mph. He blew through the red light. Allyssa and I were hit full force and knocked unconscious. We woke up to the paramedics pulling us from the car and were transported to St. Mary’s hospital in Apple Valley. Allyssa had a brain bleed, ruptured spleen and fractured pelvis along with fractured vertebrae’s. I have a concussion, 5 broken ribs, 6 fractured vertebrae’s and a fractured pelvis. Allyssa was airlifted to Loma Linda hospital where she was intubated and had emergency surgery. I was sent home that night and had to be re admitted to Corona Regional due to blood in my urine and shortness of breath. I will not be able to work for quite some time and we will both need care at home while we recover. Anything helps and we appreciate anything you can to help us make our situation a little easier.
