Help Keep Casita Queer’s Doors Open
Donation protected
Comunidad bella, we need help keeping our doors open.
We know so much is going on in the world and we didn’t want to add to anyone’s load. Casita Queer has been an act of love for our community locally and internationally. We have given it everything we have and are at a point in which we cannot keep doing it on our own. We considered closing the doors until we figured out the next steps. After sharing with our friends, we were encouraged to reach out to the community we have been pouring into. Asking for help in a time like this has felt extra difficult and vulnerable, but we believe in the magic and power of this casita. We have witnessed it firsthand, and this is why we are inviting you to help keep her doors open and accessible.
Casita Queer is a place where queer souls and mujeres have come to heal, connect, create, and form bonds that change lives. We have held retreats, people, events, workshops, birthday parties, drag brunches, danced in the rain, shared stories, cooked meals together, had soul-to-soul midnight conversations, painted murals, and so much more. Casita Queer really feels like a casita for queer souls and women in need of a place to land, find themselves, and community.
We need to raise $10,000 to keep the doors open. If you have been to the Casita, wanted to visit, or know anyone who would benefit from a place like this, I ask you to please consider donating, sharing, sending to organizations, and helping us meet this goal.
